About Regal Care Services

Role of the Support Worker
Regal Care Services LTD are a relevantly new company based in the Stafford area who are looking for Care assistants in and around the West Midlands area caring for people in their own homes. Could this be you?
No experience necessary as full training is given. We also welcome applications from individuals with previous Carer or Support Worker experience. We can offer you a stable career in these uncertain times.
Both full-time and part-time hour’s available with various working patterns include mornings, evenings and weekends. We are looking for both drivers and non-drivers

Our support workers are located in the community, usually at the service users’ homes.
The purpose of the role is to enable service users to access and take part in a full range of community activities.
This post involves
- The clients safety
- Personal care such as showering and dressing
- Helping with medication
- Assisting with drinking and eating
- Cleaning the clients living area
- Paperwork
- Activities and care schedules
Your Responsibilities
To read the Service User’s Plan on each visit and carry out care tasks detailed within the plan. Any changes which need to be made to the plan, should be reported to the office
Make your own risk assessment on each visit. Service User’s conditions may worsen; assess safety for yourself, service users and colleagues. Concerns need to be reported to the office
To use equipment which is provided, such as hoists or moving and handling belts
Occasionally required to take a service user to a pub or an event which involves alcohol
You need to be
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy
- Have good listening and communication skills
- Have empathy for service users’ situations
- Be committed to working as part of a team
- Physically fit and in good health
- Happy to work in a diverse multi-cultural society
- Be aware of the varied needs of people in the community
- Reliable - this is essential as people’s lives are affected by our services
- Willing to do mandatory training and updates as required
