Regal Care Services Ltd provides care for people who need assistance with their activities of daily living. By providing good quality care we hope to help improve the quality of life for the individuals we support (Client), their families and friends. Our care is tailored to the individual requirements of person we support and is ascertained by discussion with the individual himself or herself, their families and friends.

Training provided to staff ensures that care services are delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of the individual we support. This also ensures the safety and wellbeing of the individuals is maintained to a high level. Our staff are encouraged to undertake NVQ level 2 in Care after a period of six months’ of employment.

Role of a Domiciliary Care Worker

Our Carers need to be friendly, caring and supportive towards the individuals we support. Many of the tasks carried out are of a personal and intimate nature. Care must be taken whilst performing these tasks to ensure that the individual’s privacy and dignity is protected at all times. Confidentiality must also be protected at all times as this can compromise the individual’s privacy, dignity and safety. Care staff need at be able to use an app to record completion of tasks on every visit. Full Training will be given.

 

 

To provide a range of personal, social, emotional and practical care tasks as required for the well-being of citizens, and their carer, living in their own homes within the community, whilst keeping a watchful brief on their changing needs.

 

 

To work towards an assessed and planned package of person centred care, or maintenance programme, enabling citizens and their families to exercise control over their own lives by maximising their independence. The provision of a culturally and ethnically sensitive service is integral to the provision of home care.

Your Responsibilities

To read the Service User’s Plan on each visit and carry out care tasks detailed within the plan. Any changes which need to be made to the plan, should be reported to the office.

Make your own risk assessment on each visit. Service User’s conditions may worsen; assess safety for yourself, service users and colleagues. Concerns need to be reported to the office.

To use equipment which is provided, such as hoists or moving and handling belts.

Occasionally required to take a service user to a pub or an event which involves alcohol.
